Maria Makiling Coconut Resources
Corporation (MMCRC) was registered with the Securities and Exchange
Commission on May 4, 2004 with an authorized capital stock of One Million Six
Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP 1,600,000.00). It is a One Hundred Percent (100%)
Filipino-owned company.
Our company was established by a group of seasoned executives
long engaged in development project management. Its primary purpose is to source, process,
manufacture, and trade raw and finished coconut products and its
derivatives. Our flagship product is
Traditional Virgin Coconut Oil.
We are founding member the Virgin Coconut Oil Producers and Traders Association of the Philippines
(VCNO Phils.). Our facilities has
been inspected and approved by the Republic
of the Philippines Bureau of Food And Drug (BFAD) to operate as a Food Manufacturer (BFAD LTO No.
RDII-RIV-F-2759). MMCRC is also a
proud member of the Organic Producers & Traders Association (OPTA) of the
Philippines.
Business Rationale
We believe that the coconut industry as a whole is re-emerging
as a sunrise industry just right for the 21st century. Scientific studies indicate all natural
Virgin Coconut Oil as the healthiest edible oil to counter the rise of
degenerative diseases caused by modern diets, and as man’s most promising
weapon against deadly pathogens.
In addition, In a time of growing concern for the preservation
of the natural environment, the coconut husk fiber is seen as the foremost
raw material for industrial and commercial products. Crude coconut oil holds the promise of
cheap, clean, and infinitely renewable fuel to power the world’s
economies.
